Welcome to Little Outlaw Canoe, Nebraska
Hi, I’m Rich, the owner of Little Outlaw! I was born in Nebraska and have spent the majority of my life here. I love getting out on the river, rain or shine, and experiencing the beautiful place I’m lucky to call home. After being involved in my parents’ rental business on the Niobrara, I broke away in 1992 and bought Little Outlaw, which I now manage with my wife, Marla. At first, we rented out about 25 canoes and 40 tubes. After a lot of hard work and dedication, we now offer a variety of trips in canoes, kayaks, and tubes to ensure that you enjoy your trip on the Niobrara River. As the proud owner of Little Outlaw, I want to help everyone experience this incredible river—whether you want to float down the river on a giant tube or paddle your way down in a canoe or kayak!
We are passionate about the Niobrara River, and we are actively involved in projects to conserve this incredible spot. We also participate in a biannual clean-up of the river in order to maintain its natural beauty. I have been appointed by the governor and currently serve as the outfitter representative to the Niobrara Council, a state agency designed to help co-manage the scenic Niobrara River, along with the National Park Service. I also serve as President on the local Cherry County Tourism and Promotion Board.
We want you to love the Niobrara River as much as we do. With 38+ years of experience, we know how to make your trip memorable. So, what are you waiting for? Book a trip with us! We look forward to seeing you soon.
