Outlaw Canoe COVID-19 Update

I hope this finds you well. We’re very concerned for the safety of all, especially those who float with us. We consider you an extension of our family and hope you stay safe, healthy, and secure during this difficult time.

For those who have float trips reserved with us this summer, we’re planning to provide our service with you as scheduled! We will continue to closely monitor the pandemic situation and will abide by the most up to date recommendations from Federal, State, and Local officials governing travel and our ability to operate our River Trips. The health and safety of our guests and staff is our utmost concern. That being said, we will have some new suggested guidelines and new policies.

  • Book online if possible! We do have a great online booking platform that has live availabilities, so if you see the trip listed it is available. This system also includes the waivers need for your trip. If you book online you can skip the office check-in and check-in via phone.
  • No more than 3 guests in our office building at a time.
  • If you will be riding in a shuttle bus or van, face masks or face coverings are encouraged. It is likely you will be sharing buses and vans with other groups.
  • Please use social distancing while you enjoy the river, we know at times the launch sites and landings become congested so if you come upon an area of heavy use, do your best to mitigate the crowd.

If you wish to cancel or reschedule your reservation we ask that you please do so as soon as you know your plans have changed. Our normal cancellation policy of 14 days prior to your trip is still in effect, however, we will waive this cancellation period if Federal, State, or Local authorities issue travel restrictions or social distancing guidelines that limit the operation of our trips. We reserve the right to cancel our trips, if we feel the health danger for our passengers or staff is too high.

We appreciate your patience as we try our best to provide a safe experience for all. I’m sure you can agree that spending time on the Niobrara River in Nebraska is the perfect way to relax and unwind from months of health scares, travel restrictions, and home confinement! I can’t think of a better way to ensure the security of our friends and guests than helping them get outfitted for a Niobrara River Trip.
